Arapahoe County Open Space Grants Awarded to Littleton

The City of Littleton has been awarded grant funding from Arapahoe County Open Spaces for three separate projects. Funding for the Superchi Parcel at Reynolds Landing Park was awarded in the amount of $90,000. Funding for the Slaughterhouse Gulch Trail Connection has been approved in the amount of $253,564, and funding for the Jackass Gulch Restoration and Stabilization Design has been approved in the amount of $97,110.

Arapahoe County Open Spaces works to preserve natural and heritage areas, enhance neighborhood and regional parks, and build and maintain trails. Since its inception, the program has built more than 73 miles of new trails, supported more than 160 parks and trailhead projects, and conserved more than 31,000 acres of open space.
