Can You Help Our Littleton Businesses?
The cities of Littleton and Englewood are partnering on a new South Metro Enterprise Zone Contribution Project encouraging contributions to assist businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Donations are now being accepted and will assist businesses in the Enterprise Zone including geographic regions granted special status to encourage development and economic growth. A map of the South Metro Enterprise Zone for Littleton can be found HERE.
The minimum donation is $100 and 100% of all donations will be distributed to eligible businesses that apply for assistance. As a donor, you will receive a 25% State of Colorado tax credit for your donation. Donations may be submitted through March 30, 2021.
“I know there are many people who want to help businesses that have been devastated by COVID-19,” added Littleton Mayor Jerry Valdes. “I support the Enterprise Zone Contribution Project because it’s a great way for citizens to make a tax-deductible donation to help businesses in that zone to sustain and recover.”
Donors will need to complete a brief contribution form. If you want your contribution to assist Littleton businesses, indicate “City of Littleton” on the memo line of your check. For details visit the COVID-19 Economic Development Response.
