Governor Polis Orders Essential Workers to Wear Masks Through Mid-June


Saturday, May 16, 2020, Gov. Polis signed an executive order that extends his mask requirement for workers at Colorado’s essential businesses and critical government jobs at least until June 16 citing a continued need to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the state.

Though there is no statewide order for the wearing of masks in Colorado, though state officials have highly encouraged the practice. Cities and counties have adopted their own rules and many have mandated the wearing of masks, including Denver.
