While living with her family in Uganda, Heather Greenwood learned how a simple meal can be the starting point for positive, powerful change within a community. For the past three years, Heather and her husband have worked to create a place in Littleton where community can be fostered over a good meal. The couple realized their passion for a community gathering spot with the recent opening of GraceFull Community Café in downtown Littleton at 5610 South Curtis Street, formerly home to the Serendipitea tea shop. Conceived as a place where ‘strangers can become neighbors’, GraceFull Community Café serves healthy food beautifully prepared at a fixed price of $5.00 for breakfast and $8.00 for lunch. Freshly remodeled both inside and out, the restaurant includes a pleasant patio for outdoor dining. The café is open for breakfast and lunch from 6:30 am to 2 pm Tuesday through Saturday. Guests can ‘pay it forward’ and donate to help buy an extra meal for someone in need. People interested in volunteering can visit the Gracefull Community Café website.
