We hope you made the May 9th ribbon cutting at Jackass Hill Brewery! Though this already popular brewpub opened in early January, the owners were waiting for a warmer day to celebrate their opening with the city. Wouldn’t you know the one day they choose in May it was SNOWING! Well, (as most of you from here know) that’s spring in Colorado for ya! Mayor Brinkman cut the ribbon and Councilman Pat Driscoll from District One and Jennifer Henninger, the Director of Community Development attended along with a wonderful group of patrons who braved the chill to help celebrate this wonderful addition to main street! The celebration was a fundraiser where 25c of every pint sold went Longhopes Donkey Shelter to help provide care for their jackass MOOSE!
Founded by Pat Somers, Chuck and Rosanne Thenell, Kevin Miller and Jeff Bennett, this brewpub, features the main bar and indoor table seating where the nano-brewery is visible through windows. There is also an outdoor beer garden primed and ready for summer fun with a fire pit and room for food trucks that change daily. Beyond the tap, patrons can order a variety of spirits and wines by the glass. And if you are feeling hungry you can treat yourself to such items as nachos, chips & dips, mac & cheese or a charcuterie board from the kitchen.
If you haven’t been by yet then come in and enjoy these long summer days at Jackass Hill Brewery at 2409 W. Main Street, Littleton.
