Littleton Equine Medical Center, located at 8025 South Santa Fe Drive, has joined the elite ranks of 2016 Colorado Companies to Watch Winners. One of just 50 Winners selected from more than 1,000 companies across the state of Colorado by a rigorous selection process, Littleton Equine Medical Center was originally founded in 1950 by Harry W. Johnson, DVM, as the Littleton Large Animal Clinic. Over the years, the area urbanized and although farm animals are no longer common, the horse community has continued to grow. The Littleton Large Animal Clinic evolved with this change and now exclusively treats horses. With a staff of 20 veterinarians and over 40 support staff, Littleton Equine Medical Center uses state-of-the art equipment for complete, specialized care of horses, from vision to reproductive services. For example, the company was only the seventh site in the world to have an MRI that can be used on a standing horse, revolutionizing diagnosis of lameness. Please join the City of Littleton, a Colorado Companies to Watch Community Partner, in congratulating Littleton Equine Medical Center on winning this prestigious award.
