Littleton RISE
Littleton is bringing together community leaders to Recover, Innovate, Stabilize, and Envision our return from COVID-19. This joint effort to RISE will be supported by the City of Littleton’s City Manager’s Office, Economic Development Department, Communications Department, and other city departments as needed.
Purpose
Uncertainty is arguably the most challenging environment to operate a business or organization. The full impact of COVID-19 is still unknown but has affected every single sector of the city. The City of Littleton recognizes its role to bring together our community leaders to discuss strategies and develop initiatives to get Littleton’s economy moving again.
While there are still many unknowns, the city is ready to adapt and evolve as the situation with COVID-19 unfolds. The topics under consideration for Littleton RISE include three phases:
- RELIEF
- State and Federal Advocacy for Resources and Relief
- Promotion of Resources for Littleton Businesses and Community Organizations
- Curation of Resources and Centralized Communication through Go2Littleton
- RESTART
- Streamline process and guidance for phased re-opening
- Help focus business models to reflect the changing environment and guidance
- Support rebranding of businesses and community organizations as “COVID careful”
- to communicate confidence and the steps taken to mitigate COVID-19.
- Coordinate business recovery planning
- Consider local grants to fill gaps
- RECOVERY
- Support one-on-one business coaching
- Workshops, training, technical assistance, and webinars
- Support spacing plans in businesses and other shared spaces in coordination with Tri-County Health
